Join local heritage site Fulham Palace and celebrate all things sustainable and eco-friendly at the annual green meet on Sunday 30 April.

An eco-conscious opportunity for the community to celebrate what nature has to offer, the green meet will invite visitors of all ages to learn more about ecology, biodiversity and sustainability through a variety of hands-on activities.

The green market will feature over 45 stalls, perfect for getting green gifts and sourcing eco-friendly alternatives from local businesses. Learn a new skill at one of the eco-workshops, such as learning how to pickle vegetables with Sunny Jar Eco Hub, or listen to sustainability experts discuss hot topics and teach new skills in the talks tipi. Find pre-loved pieces for adults and children in our fashion pop up, and win big at the tombola, with all proceeds going directly to supporting Fulham Palace.

Explore the 13-acre grounds on tours through the Palace botanic garden with the Palace’s garden apprentices sand experience a range of resource-friendly demonstrations. After grabbing a bite to eat from a selection of green food vendors, or the drawing room café, relax on the lawn to live music performances by local bands.

There is plenty to do for younger visitors, with craft activities, outdoor games and free family yoga to start your morning feeling zen, courtesy of Everybody Yoga Company. Children will have the chance to become eco-warriors at the EcoACTIVE sustainability workshop. Fresh produce, plants and posies will be available for purchase from the garden barrow, and watch the green woodworkers at work! You’ll even be able to visit the four new chickens, who were purchased using the funds from last year’s green meet.

‘A wonderful community celebration of all things green sustainable, the green meet is an amazing way to get involved and learn about what you can do to help combat the climate crisis. Biodiversity and sustainability are so important to the Palace, and with the success of last year’s green meet, we’re excited to be able to once again welcome visitors of all ages to learn, explore, and enjoy a day out in the blossoming Palace gardens.’

UK estate agents Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward are generously sponsoring this community-favourite event!

Admission to the Fulham Palace green meet is free with a suggested donation of £3.00. Paid workshops will be available for pre-booking on the Fulham Palace website.
