Our services include;
Free Design & Risk Assessment

The first stage of our design service would involve a free consultation and risk assessment [in accordance with BSEN 62305. From the information provided, including architectural drawings, elevations or site photographs we are able to determine the level of lightning protection required.
We can also offer a free site visit to help further our assessment where applicable. Following receipt of the order, the design and cost can then be modified in line with the on-going developments of the construction.

Surge Protection
In this age of technology, we depend heavily on electrical systems. From communication and entertainment to hospital support and national security systems.
Electrical Surge Protection Devices are essential to prevent disruption to these services: reducing the risk of permanent damage to equipment caused by Lightning Electromagnetic Impulses [LEMP]. A combined installation of surge protection and structural protection is critical in order for the Lightning Protection system to comply with BS EN 62305 code of practice.

Maintenance & Aftercare
Following the initial installation of an LPS, a regular test and inspection are essential to ensure it continues to provide the level of protection required. BSEN 62305 states that an LPS should be inspected every six to twelve months, depending on the type of building. Seasonal changes can affect LPS test readings. Therefore we recommend that a test is carried out on a standard structure every eleven months to allow for these seasonal effects. Structures with explosive contents should also have an additional visual inspection every six months [BSEN 62305].
We endeavour to provide an ongoing aftercare system which includes friendly advice and consultation. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about an existing or proposed lightning protection system.
